Happy New Year!!
Where does the time fly? Christmas and New year have gone by so quickly!
Happy New Year to everyone, I hope that 2010 brings lots of love, laughing, health, wealth and happiness. It really has been a whirlwind for me since opening the shop in Acle. I am overwhelmed at the number of compliments. I really can't take all of the credit for it, my Hubby (Rich) is responsible for all of the building work, new floors, new walls, counter, shelving etc
My crafty pals also helped with the painting, unpacking stock, labelling, arranging, making.........
I was my usual self.......hopping from one job to the next, worrying if anyone would like it!
I needn't have worried, the support from our local community has been brilliant.
So thanks to Rich, Raine Dancer and Angela B, I couldn't have done it without you!!

CRAFTY NEW PREMISES
Crafty has found a new home!! We have moved from Blofield to Acle, Norwich. I am really happy to annouce that after working with Artwaves Ink at Norwich Day Services, we are now going to be supporting the artists from the group by stocking a collection of artwork for sale.
Crafty is now stocking a range of sewing and embelllishing machines with free demonstrations..........no excuses not to "HAVE A GO"!
I am working on my new collection of jewellery and cufflinks...........watch this space!
Ciao for now xx Kelly

upcycled plastic bag wedding dress!
As a virgin blogger i felt it rather fitting that my first blog should be about a Wedding Dress.
After a lot of talking, I finally made it! A wedding dress made from rubbish.......bubble wrap, plastic bags, wallpaper, foil, free motion machine embroidery and a LOT of patience!!
A big THANK YOU to all who helped, KERRY, LAURAINE, ANGLELA, JANE, JAKE, ELLIS, BETHANY AND LAUREN.
The dress was displayed at the Norwich Bead and Textiles fair last Sunday at the John Innes Centre, and I am glad to say was admired by many!
I am very inspired to create more outfits from "rubbish", the next one from bottle tops.......... :)
